DUES: At this time, we are not collecting dues for this group, since our expenses are being covered by our sponsor, McReynolds Wealth Management and Personal Tax Service in Montgomeryville, PA. After we get things settled with the merger between Bucks County Social Singles and Social Singles of Montco, we will likely ask for a reasonable amount of dues which will support our organizers by covering expenses for them. Lehigh Valley Barefoot Runners & Hikers
The Lehigh Valley Barefoot Runners and Hikers Group is for those who are looking for a healthier way to experience the outdoors. Maybe you've read "Born to Run", maybe you've gotten injured running and are looking for a better solution, or maybe you'd like to experience hiking on a whole new level -- whatever your reason, this is the place. When running barefoot, the body's natural stride is a healthier, more natural way to run, resulting in better running efficiency and fewer injuries. We follow a lot of Daniel Lieberman's work, whose research argues that humans are natural runners, and run best with a "toe-heel-toe" stride and use just the natural sole. Hiking barefoot is truly rewarding as you "become one" with nature. When we hike barefoot we leave minimal impact on the environment. Instead of kicking things out of our way, we learn to explore all of the sensatory experiences the outdoors have to offer. We tend to hike slower and appreciate nature's beauty along the way. Hiking without shoes truly takes the experience up a few notches. The barefoot running and hiking community is starting to become a power to be reckoned with thanks to social media websites such as You Tube, Twitter, blogs, Facebook, and others. It's a movement that stands for more than improved running times, or less injuries. It stands for a revolution against the social norms that say you can't take off your shoes. It stands for breaking away from religiously buying the next greatest cushioned sole that never lives up to all the hype. It stands for running for running sake — the way mother nature intended. It stands for freedom of choice as much as anything. Come join us for a some outdoor barefoot adventure! Why Barefoot? Dating back to ancient times, shoes were rarely if ever worn. Walking barefoot, especially hiking on uneven surfaces causes the muscles to work harder, making them stronger and at the same time reducing body fat. If allowed to develop to their natural thickness, the pads of the feet develop into natural shock absorbers, which (unlike shoes) also protects the back, knee and hip joints. A barefoot lifestyle forces the body into a more erect, better-balanced posture that aligns the skelatal system properly, and takes the pressure off muscles and joints. Our Mission: Our group is devoted to inspiring runners and hikers alike to run and walk barefoot for a better, healthier injury free lifestyle. Jaime has been living barefoot for the past 3 years and will be instructing and introducing members to the art of barefoot hiking. Wendy has been an avid barefoot runner for the past 2 years. She will give tips and introduce members to the art and technique of running barefoot. All activities will be done completely barefoot or wearing Vibram Five-Fingers (VFFs) ONLY. No minimalist shoes or sneakers, please. History: This club was first organized as the "Lehigh Valley Travel & Outdoors Group" by Natasha Serrano on May 06, 2008. It was the first and only meetup group dedicated to outdoor sports and activities. The group grew in popularity by leaps and bounds. On July 20, 2009, we became the "Lehigh Valley Great Outdoors Club" and leadership was handed down to "Barefoot" Jaime. With membership at 700, it was the largest outdoor activities groups in the Lehigh Valley area. After 2009, group participation began to wane due to the appearance of countless of other outdoor activities groups based in the area. It was clear that things were moving toward "specialization" December 01, 2011. We are proud to head in a bold new direction. As the "Lehigh Valley Barefoot Runners & Hikers" we are excited to introduce the Greater Lehigh Valley area and beyond to barefoot hiking and running as well as other adventures.

If you join they will occasionally send offers of additional discounts. Right now (and until August 13th) the offer is a $25 certificate for $2! That's and instant and easy $23 off the tab. I don't advocate this site or have any association with it. I just wanted to share my favorable experience with this web site. I have saved a lot of money and I naturally assumed that you would too. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Amy for telling me about this site. Don't forget to type in the dicount code PORTION. Happy eating everyone. Awesome Adventure Women
Awesome Adventure Women is an organization that was formed from the sole of my heart, simply because I wanted to get more women outdoors and experience activities that they were only thinking of or speaking of. I noticed there were many women who have expressed, "Oh, I have always wanted to try rock climbing, but I don't think I have the upper body strength to manage it", "I would love to go zip lining, but I'm afraid of heights.", " Ya know, I enjoy hiking, but not going alone." or "I never know where to find different events." People seem to find more reasons NOT to try something, then to do it anyway and see what happens. Some even give up before they get started because it's too time consuming or can't collaborate with their friend's schedules. Awesome Adventure Women has taken away the fear, the loneliness, the hassle and the time it takes to know where to go, what to do and even provides the opportunity to make friends so you will never feel alone. After reading the following you will find yourself a different person. You can be saying; "Yes, I can", "Yes, I will" and "Yes I am" getting out there! Awesome Adventure Women has made life simple and exciting for you because we prep, plan and prepare ALL the events and activities for you. All you have to do is show up with your spirit of adventure. I believe everyone has a spirit of adventure inside them. And AAW loves to bring it out of you. We have simple events like hiking, biking, kayaking, fencing, grape stomping and wine tasting to more extreme activities including outdoor rock climbing, zip lining/high rope challenge in the dark, whitewater rafting, skydiving, caving, dog sledding and stock car racing. We have shot several types of firearms and bows and arrows. And even offered classes like "Ladies Start Your Engines" where you can learn basic auto maintenance on how to change your tire and replace your fluids. And "Handi-Women" classes where you learn some basic home repair, for instance, replacing your screens, locks and light switches, finding studs to hang the perfect picture and even grouting tile. There are always new and wonderful events being added. Our activities and events are very affordable and offered 2-4 times per month. AAW can also plan the next "special occasion like a bachelorette party or 40th birthday party. How about getting a group of co-workers together or your small organization and offer something special like a zip lining/high rope challenge course for your guest? You can tell me what you want or I can suggest what your guest would like. Then leave the rest up to AAW. Yes, sometimes, we open up events to the men folk and their families. We don't want to leave them out completely! But keeping in mind, Awesome Adventure Women was created for women who like to do and try new events and activities with like minded women ages 18 - 118, without the competition of men and to enjoy a day with like minded women. You have the option of becoming a Full Member of AAW member, which is a $25.00 per year fee that offers you reduced prices on 99% of the events, free advertising, For Sale section, newsletter and automatic event updates. Or just sign up as a non-member at www.aawonline.com and still get the free e-newsletter of updated events. Oh yes, if you lead an event, you can go for free, (sometimes 1/2 price which occurs rarely.) And we are always open to suggestions for events and activities, so please feel inclined to do so. Awesome Adventure Women is here to provide you with unique and exciting adventurous opportunities, not to be missed. Go to www.aawonline.com for all events, details, e-newsletter, photo gallery and more. So now you can stop looking for excuses. Awesome Adventure Women wants to change you from the inside out. Remember, this is YOUR adventure! I hope you will join us soon. Awesome Adventure Women Michelle Halbsgut 215-313-4495 www.aawonline.com

No League Needed
Have you ever wanted to be a member of an adult sports' league, but don't go through with it because of the commitment needed or the expense? Whether you're a novice, intermediate, or at an advanced level, there should be something on the calendar for everyone. :-) How about volleyball, tennis, softball, basketball, flag or touch football, even soccer, kickball, and dodgeball... but for fun, for free, and for adults only? Lehigh Valley Walk & Hike
Walking and hiking are two of the simplist activities you can do outdoors year round. They don't require a lot of special expensive gear and they are beneficial to your health and mind. It is a wonderful way to see many different things within the city as well as on the forest trail. The purpose of the group is to pull outdoor enthusiasts together to share the benefits of walking for the intent of getting exercise. Not only can members gain physical benefits, have an opportunity to socialize with some new faces, relieve some stress and also, guess what?........IT'S FUN !!! The group may on occassion offer an outing not specific to walking, but to attend a show, event, special attraction, or point of interest. On occassion an event may be scheduled for the sole intentions of just socializing over a meal at a restaurant. Potential members should be those interested in enjoying the outdoors, meeting new faces, and having a good time while getting some exercise. Walks and hikes will be at a moderate or above pace, so those participating should expect such and be capable of keeping up with the group. Those with considerable health issues or health problems aggravated by the act of walking or hiking long distances should not participate. All walks and hikes will have a description of the terrain we will cover and about how much time it will take. WineScool :: Wine Tasting
WineScool "BeerScool" has been successful each month, so we've branched out and started "WineScool". Don't let the "Scool" fool you. It's just a play on words. We feature 5 wines each meetup. Everyone will taste each wine while the guest "instructor" tells you a little bit about each wine, the wine maker and the region the wine is from. This is why we used the "Scool" in the title, and yes we know there should be an "H" in Scool, but we leave it out because "Wine's Cool". It's not a classroom setting so don't be intimidated. It's very laid back. It takes place in the Private Banquet Room at Starters Riverport restaurant. Visit www.riverportnightlife.com to see what the location is all about. The meetup is a relaxing evening with wine tasting, 4-Course Meal, and socializing. Everyone is welcome! Time: 7:00pm until the bottles drip dry! Cost: $35 We hope to see your there! Lehigh Valley 9.12-Group
The Lehigh Valley 9/12 initiatives group have goals which include teaching all members the U.S. Constitution and the specifics enveloping the laws of our land in addition to providing a place where there are other like-minded Americans looking for direction in taking back the control of our country amongst other vital initiatives supporting this grass roots movement. It is also a place to find information that will assist you in navigating the rough waters we face in the days, weeks and months ahead. The core idea supporting this grass roots movement is a 9/12 initiative referencing Americans that had new perspectives on life and as traditional American citizens, escalated from the aftermath of the attacks on September 11, 2001; "We Will Never Forget!" Therefore, like-minded Americans recognize that we're at a critical juncture in American history and the only way to get our country back is to organize locally and nationally with coordinated efforts and a united front starting with holding all of our elected lawmakers accountable, no matter the party they belong to, when making decisions against the laws of our land encompassing our founding documents including the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights for any reason. We endeavor to share with all U.S. citizens the principles and values that truly portray traditional main stream American way of life, liberty, property and pursuit of happiness. Please join us in support of this grass roots movement in combating corrupt politicians and their methodical trends in violating our laws as written in the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights and the major media outlets biased propagandizing of only far left viewpoints as main stream. Know that you are not alone and that many people are with you because traditional America is the actual main stream of America! So again, please join us and support our cause as together we can succeed!

Chillin' in the Lehigh Valley (20s/30s)
Welcome! This is the Valley's only group for adults in their 20's & 30's who are married, coupled-up or single! As we graduate from college or take that new job in a different city, we often lose contact with our friends. Some start families or just move away all together. This is an excellent way to meet others in low-key, friendly small groups over lunch, dinner, drinks or other cool activities in and around the Lehigh Valley and form positive friendships! (Members are welcomed to bring their friends and partner/spouse as desired.) Brought to you by the Founder of two successful meetups in the area: Lehigh Valley Great Outdoors Club (still the area's largest social group!) and the Lehigh Valley World Culture and Travel Club (the only one of its kind here!): http://www.meetup.com/greatoutdoors/ http://www.meetup.com/worldcultureandtravel/ Think you want to try your hand at organizing something for the group? Great! We welcome your enthusiasm and ideas and would be happy to point you in the right direction and let you go! After all, this is YOUR Club so why not? ;) We're looking forward to meeting you soon! **Please note that this is NOT a dating site; just a great way to meet new people. ;) ** Be sure to check out our ABOUT page on the left of the site for more information on the group, our philosophy and policies. Bucks County Lesbian Social Club (for women 35+)
If you are a Lesbian, Bisexual, or Questioning woman who has ever wandered around New Hope, Lambertville or Doylestown thinking "I see Lesbians" and wonder how to make friends with them...... then this is the place for you! I have recently moved here from the Mt Airy (read: Lesbian) section of Philadelphia, where I lived for several years. I started the Mt Airy Lesbian social Club (or, MALSC) in July, 2007. I thought we'd attract 35-50 women for social gatherings. Well, the club has over 500 members to date. (Well, not all "to date" because many are couples or happily single, but you get what I mean!) My intention is to take that model to this bouncing baby "sister club", The Bucks County Lesbian Social Club (or, BCLSC). Many of our members are already MALSC members, as the word is OUT, that this is one fantastic group of women. The organizers do a great job but will be first to tell you that the members are the lifeblood of the club. We seek to attract women from Bucks, Montgomery, Mercer, Hunterdon, Lehigh counties and beyond! If you want to connect with this club, just join! Maturity is a plus for our group! While we say 35+, it is not firm, but we find that we draw 40+, 50+, etc. We are NOT a dating site! Couples are to be respected at all times! If romance blossoms from within the "hive", that's wonderful. Enough said. What's up with this "hive" business, anyway? Well, it happened spontaneously with the MALSC. As founder, I called myself the queen bee, and suddenly everyone began to adopt "bee names". Funny, but it works! We expect to cross-pollinate with the MALSC regularly! So.....hikers, bikers, shoppers, readers, dog lovers, dancers, diners, political folk, professional or retired Lesbians...... everybody join in the merriment! We're only as COOL as you are! (This is the motto of the MALSC....now ours as well.

Mid-Atlantic Transgender Community
Hello, we are the members of the Mid-Atlantic Transgender Community, based in Allentown, PA. We have events in PA - DE - NJ. We are a safe haven for Transgenders! Our members are fun loving and compassionate people. Join us for unconditional support and to establish lifetime friendships. The membership of this group is strictly for Transgenders (TG's), CD's, significant others of a Transgendered member, and family or personal friends of a member. Non-Transgendered people will be admitted if they are known by a TG from within this group and considered a friend. That member will also have to verify the information and give consent. A face photo is required in order to join this group. If you don't want a face photo on your profile, then you'll need to email a face photo to me. We can put the photo in our private album that's visable to members only. If you tell us that you're a CD, then that's what the face photo needs to indicate. Minors are not permitted to join this group. I reserve the right to make the final decision for accepting any new member. The goals of this group is: 1. To support each other in a safe environment. 2. To meet, make freinds, and have fun. 3. To keep the group clean and respectful. 4. To keep the group free from predators. This is a Meetup support group and not intended as a hookup site or a group that posts sexual content. If your profile contains pictures with nudity, or hints of nudity, you will need to clean it up before you join this group. To avoid being removed from the membership, all members are expected to comply with this. We are a Meetup group. If you have no intentions of actually meeting us at some of our events, I would question your desire to join. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Doylestown Five-O Plus
We are a group of singles, age 50 and up in the Doylestown, PA area. This is not a "casual hook-up" site or high pressure dating group. We seek to provide a low-stress opportunity for mature singles to meet and befriend other singles their age, expanding their social network and calendar. It is very possible and always a big bonus if, somewhere along the way, romance develops between members. But if that doesn't occur, getting out and having fun is not a bad goal in itself! We have dinner together once a week, have local travel, go to movies, picnics, and hikes. We are open to all suggestions and ideas for activities we can share. We are set up as a private group in order to help keep out spammers and help protect the privacy of members. Joining is not difficult - we only ask that you are 50 or older. Also, we are a non-profit Meetup group. We do not charge admission for public events, such as going out to a dinner, movie, or free concert. There will be charges when you go to a dance or picnic where some food is provided, but that goes to the organizers of the event, not Doylestown-Five-0 Plus.

PhotoQuest101
Picasso created timeless masterpieces with nothing more than a stub of charcoal. Contemporary masters of photography continue to create spectacular images with nothing but a pinhole for a lens. It isn't about how much you spend on equipment. PhotoQuest101 Meetups help you master your machine in a fun social environment and shows you how to leap from the realm of 'snapshots' to magazine and museum quality photographs. We shoot in public spaces and we'll occasionally venture into off-limits locations in stealth mode. We take photos of everything with some particular objectives for every outing. We shoot old rusting autos and weathered barns, mushrooms, flowers, public gatherings, parades and festivals. We make excursions to the inner city and rural parks and trails. We discover out of the way places and learn to capture photos that make you want to take a second look. We learn to engage people to pose for spontaneous portraits and we have a great time in the process. Your digital camera is a power tool; a computer that measures light 300x/second. It sends infrared to your subject and zooms the lens for perfect focus. It calculates f-stop, shutter speed, ISO, flash synch, and more faster than you can squeeze the trigger and get a perfect picture in 1/10,000 of a second. Already a Master Photographer? Hop on board and share your favorite techniques in a workshop or other outing. We will meet in a variety of interesting and unusual locations in order to get the photos that everyone else missed. We will meet to share and discuss our digital images. We will have talks and discussions about equipment, accessories and in-camera and post-production techniques. Are you a photojournalist, a portraitist, commercial, free-lance, amateur, professional or fine art photographer. Enjoy a series of Photo Quest Adventures learn some simple, but powerful techniques that you can use and make magic with your images to advance your photography in many ways. We all have computers. We all have digital cameras. The Age of New Media requests the pleasure of our images. Lehigh Valley PhotoQuest is where we learn how and why to have fun with photography and make our photos a meaningful and valuable contribution to our communities.

The Greater Lehigh Valley Dance Network
Welcome to The Greater Lehigh Valley Dance Network. Spanning primarily Ballroom and Swing genres of dance, my focus will be on Swing, especially, the West Coast Swing and Hustle. I dont hold dance events but I and others list them here. I utilize this forum mostly as an information hub for dancers. Just to be clear, I do not produce these events nor do I get any monetory compensation from these events. I mearly enjoy dancing and spreading the word, "Here are dance events..enjoy!!" What is posted here is not limited to what I am interested in...you, the members will drive the content, if you choose. All you have to do is suggest! My goal for this site is to make it the premier source of consolidated dance information in and around the Lehigh Valley. This area includes parts of NJ, NY, Del, Md and major National Events, providing dancers with information on instruction, dances, seminars, festivals and links along with being a communications hub for dancers throughout the region. Use the Message Board..it is for you. I will be leaning heavily on the Membership for leads, ideas, events, information and direction of this group. UNITEPA - The Pottstown Area Patriots
Values and Principles... these are items that once made this nation a great and strong nation. People are finally realizing this and are beginning to step up and do something about it. In short we are about restoring individual Values and Principles to the American People who will in turn restore the American government to its proper place. The Pottstown Area Patriots and www.912PA.com are members of the 9-12 Project. We do our best to adhere to the 9 Principles and 12 Values as stated on this page. We are a non-partisan group. We are not professional organizers, professional protesters, or paid community organizers. We are all “Citizen Patriots” of the United States of America. We do come from all walks of life. We are for the most part plain ordinary people that care about our country and are trying to get back to what our “Founding Fathers” intended it to be. We are concerned about the same things you are concerned about, but we are all volunteers. We can only do what our free time permits. That is why it is so important to get people like yourself involved with us. We need your help and we need others like you to help us in our cause. The bigger we get the stronger we are and the more we can do. Please come to one of our meetings and stand with us in the Pottstown Area. What is 912 About? Most members come to the group as fans of Glenn Beck. He has led the way by asking the tough questions and articulating a clear message. This message is based upon Seeking the Truth, Restoring the Principles of the Founding Fathers, and Preserving Law based upon our Constitution. The Nine Principles of the 912 Movement 1. America is good. 2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life. 3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday. 4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government. 5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it. 6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results. 7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable. 8. It is not Un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion. 9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me. 12 Values Honesty Reverence Hope Thrift Humility Charity Sincerity Moderation Hard Work Courage Personal Responsibility Friendship What is UnitePA? UNITEPA is a loose confederation of all member Patriot and Political groups in the state of Pennsylvania. We share members, information, goals, and resources. You Are Not Alone, you are the Grassroots No longer can we sit on the sidelines and watch our political leaders continue to exercise "self-preservation" rather than "representation".

Spiritual Connections in the Lehigh Valley
Welcome all! This meetup group is for people of all ages and backgrounds to connect with other like-minded and open-hearted people. Are you spiritually open? Or have a sneaking suspicion that there's more to Life than what we can see, feel, hear, taste and smell? Whether you are religious (each major religion has a mystical core) or not -- no matter what your path, lineage, tradition or religion may be or become -- you've found your meetup home! This group is not about leading anyone toward any one particular "truth," we just provide opportunities for members to connect, explore, and create community. We only ask you to be respectful of the culture and beliefs of other members, and to try to see the "light" within everyone. We are always looking for new meetup ideas and people who are willing to organize them. Some of our past meetups included attending a Buddhist Sangha, a Hindu Temple, a Jewish Synagogue, a Vedantic Ashram, Native American ceremony, Tai Chi class, Yoga class. But we have also met at concerts and potlucks. This group is about connecting. Any member can suggest a meetup, and if enough people sign up for it, it will become official. So feel free to suggest more ordinary meetups for members like dinners, gatherings and game-nights. Financial Policy Low or no cost meetups are encouraged. However, when scheduling events that cost money or ask for donations, please clearly list costs or suggested donation. There is no charge to join this meetup. However, Meetup.com charges for the website, and therefore we must ask anyone who wants to market a workshop, seminar or sessions to our members to contact the Organizer for information about making a financial contribution to help defray costs of this website. Namaste, friends!

The Hatfield Boardgames Club
We're an established gaming group that gets together on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month to play boardgames, cardgames, miniature games or whatever strikes our fancy. Our group includes gaming from mainstream board games like Pictionary to high level strategy games such as Puerto Rico, Princes of Florence, etc. There is literally something for everyone. You do not ever need to be shy around this group... we are there to have fun and enjoy each other's company, definitely not to judge whether you are a great game player or not. An amazing group of folks that showed up right on the first meeting, and everyone clicked immediately. Newcomers are always welcome, we always have extra chairs and tables. It's a good idea to get to the meetings on time, because after everybody divide up into groups and start playing, you might have to wait for a while until someone else shows up or one of the games ends before you have partners to play with.

Lehigh Valley Lesbian Social Club (for women 30+)
If you are a Lesbian, Bisexual, or Questioning woman who lives in the Lehigh Valley, please join us for some fun and camaraderie. This group was started because I had a hard time finding 30+ professional women like me who I could meet in a social setting. This group seeks women from Lehigh and Northampton counties who would like to connect with likeminded people in a welcoming atmosphere. Women in any stage of the coming out process (or not in the process) are welcome and respected. If you "see Lesbians" in the valley and wonder how to make friends with them…. Then this is the place for you! This is one fantastic group of women and the members are the lifeblood of the club. While it is listed 30+, the requirement is not firm; it is more to attract mature members who realize this is not a dating site! Couples are respected. If romance buds among members of our group, that is wonderful, but it is not the main purpose. Our purpose is to provide a space of understanding and merriment for our wonderful women.

The Allentown Film Crew
Hello Everyone, This is not your average film-buff social group. Instead of just talking about movies we will actually make movies. This group is for people who want to be a part of the creative process. This is an opportunity to work with other creative people on a single goal; to make a movie. People of all skill levels are welcome. How this will work: - Focus on Short Films - One project at a time - Project selected by members - Projects targeted for contests, online competitions, film fests, etc. - Any rewards split equally - One standard meeting per month - Additional meetings for filming - Schedule around member availability - Crew positions rotate for each film - Membership voluntary; Time and equipment donations appreciated We will touch upon all facets of film-making from production planning, casting, shooting, and more. Plus, making short films for contests will provide a real outlet for creativity. The opportunity to win an award or to receive constructive feedback for the work we do will help us grow as film-makers. So if you want to meet-up with like mind film-makers and work on films as opposed to just watching them then feel free to join. All are welcome.

Bethlehem Meditation Group-MPO
It is my commitment, as an ordained Buddhist Dharma Teacher, to create heart-centered community with like minded people through the practice of meditation and the gifts of wisdom teachings from Buddhist studies, and many other Spiritual studies that I have learned throughout the years. I am aware that the wisdom of the collective is greater than one, so it is my intention that we gather, practice meditation and learn from each other. The group is open to everyone, beginners and more advanced practitioners, interested in cultivating joy, wisdom and present moment awareness, through mindfulness practice, meditation practice, and sharing( though sharing is not required). We meet every Monday in Bethlehem. This service is offered for free, but donations to the church are very strongly encouraged, as the church kindly offers this space for donations only. Everyone interested in improving their life is invited, whether they are able to give a monetary donation or not. The format is: A short 20 minute sit, 10 minute walking meditation, and another 20 minute sit. A short dharma talk is offered after the meditation practice and then we socialize with tea, fruit and cookies.

Doylestown Food Co-op - Doylestown, PA
There's Something Fresh Happening in Doylestown! We are moving full steam ahead with plans for a Doylestown-based food cooperative. What we envision is a community-owned and managed food market that supports sustainable agriculture and our local farmers, where you'll find delicious, locally produced food and have a say in how it's run. The focus of the Doylestown Food Co-op is to support our local farmers by providing a direct connection between our farmers/producers and our conscientious consumers. We want to see more local foods on more local plates on a year-round basis. We will be closing this Meetup group, however, in the next few weeks. But fret not, the Doylestown Food Co-op's plan to become a brick and mortar building are still moving forward. We strongly encourage all Meetup group members to stay informed about our progress and upcoming events by doing one, or all, of the following: Visit the our official, and extremely informative, website regularly Support the Doylestown Food Co-op by becoming a member and help us get one step closer to opening our doors Subscribe to The Appetizer, our monthly newsletter Like our fan page on Facebook Follow us on Twitter @DtownCoop Subscribe to our RSS feed and receive notifications whenever new content is posted on our website We thank you all greatly for being members of our Meetup group and we hope that you will become members of the Doylestown Food Co-op, or at least keep in touch with us via the links above. Lehigh Valley Adult Coed Out-of-Shape Soccer
We have 200+ members (on our email list--just started this meetup thing). We play March to December and will play at least 3 games/week by summer and games are scheduled based on weather, thus it changes a little week to week. We play ultra friendly and safe so you don't have to worry about getting hurt. Normal (skilled) games are usually 11v11, but we also have smaller beginner's (or very out-of-shape) games, intermediate, and over-38. We also have soccer lessons if you want to learn new skills or stretegies. We are primarily an over 30 league (women all ages are welcome to play), but we do allow under 30 players to play on a case by case basis based on their ability to play by our league's guidelines. For more information about our league, read https://sites/google.com/site/lehighvalleyoutofshapesoccer/ If you are an under 30 male you must read our guidelines before your first game: https://sites.google.com/site/outofshapesoccerguidelines/ Our guidelines are changes to normal soccer rules for how we play to keep things safe and friendly. If you are over 30, peruse the guidelines before your first time out so you understand the basics, and then read them fully before you attend your second game.

Making Friends & Having Fun. Activities for Men & Women 50+
Making Friends & Having Fun....... Is An Activities and Social Group for Single Men & Women 50 PLUS............. As well as the Official SISTER group of Widows and Widowers....................My name is Barb... In December of 2010...... I started a Meetup Group Named ....Widows & Widowers making Friends and Enjoying Life........ Since starting the group..we have grown to over 100 members..... we have our own events and co host events with other meetup groups.....In bringing the Widows and Widowers together with our Divorced/Single Friends ........I began to understand.......the way we became single is very different but the feeling of loneliness, vulnerability, the need to start over, make new friends, find activities to participate in....... is something we all have in common....W&W was created to act as a bridge to bring people together in a safe enviroment as they transitioned into their life as a "Single" person..... this group could have the same purpose for divorced people (or people who find themselves alone not living with a spouse or in a commited relationship..) ..a way to get make new friends and experience new activities......... IF YOU ARE WIDOWED YOU CAN BE A MEMBER OF BOTH GROUPS OR JUST ONE...WHICH EVER YOU FEEL THE MOST COMFORTABLE WITH....Our Widowed Members are in the age range of 50 to 69....Most people in this group are also within that age range...give or take a few years.... in either direction........(if you are only interested in the Widows group click on.......http://www.meetup.com/Widows-Widowers50S60S/ We are not about dating.... we are about making friends and sharing activities with others.......in a non threatening safe environment..... We are about getting together with friends.....Our activities will include new adventures or possibly doing stuff you haven't done in years..... Some activities my meetup group has done over the last year has been, going to Plays, Movies, Dances, Sporting Events, Kayaking, Hiking, Vacationing, Weekend trips, Day Trips, Bus Trips, Dining out, Murder Mystery Dinners, Brunches, Picnics, Geo-caching, Mini Golf, Golf, Billiards, Biking, Picnics, Volunteering, Fund Raising, attending Cooking Classes, Gourmet Wine and Cheese Tasting Classes, Boating, going to Concerts, Festivals, the Flower Show, Train rides, Game nights, Car shows, Star watches, live music events, air shows, flea marketing, shopping, hay rides, Archery, House Parties, Costume Parties, House Tours, Parades, Whale Watching and more......... Suggest something ..... we will give it a try...... We don't spend a lot of time sitting around in bars, not that we don't do that occasionally but with this group unless we are there to hear a band or dance.....it is an after thought...not the main event...we go out to dinner often but usually when attached to another activity like going to a movie or a play..or after an outdoor activity.....we do brunches .........Many of our Events are Family Friendly......Some plans that are in the works are for such things as a trip to Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater, Mosaics Class, Target shooting, Concerts, Festivals, the Flower Show, Ride the Ducks, visiting Jim Thorpe, Touring Washington in the Spring, and of course our Second Annual Family and Friends Picnic at Greenlane Park.....and .... the list goes on and on.... We participate in activities in Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, Lehigh, Berks Counties and Philadelphia.... We have gone to the Inner Harbor, Gettysburg and to the Shore...... Our group is private... you will be asked to supply a phone number (cell is fine) and an email address... You will not be contacted unless it is about a meetup or your membership...You are asked not to post your full name or your address... Your first name and last initial is fine.... along with the town where you live.....A recent photo is required.... that is so we can recognize you at a meetup event..... Please be aware...even though we are not a dating site...if two people mutually decide to date....they will not be asked to leave the group....and we hope they will continue to participate in activities..... There are no fees involved in being a member of this group and you are under no obligation to stay a member..... (Eventually I may start to charge a nominal amt ....like $5.00 per year.) But for now there is none....After we meet you will be made an event organizer so you can post an activity in your area...All members will be asked to suggest or host at least one activity per year.....this could be something as simple as posting that you are going to a movie and asking if anyone would like to join you..... Please feel free to contact me if you need help or have any questions about hosting...IF WE ALL COME UP WITH SUGGESTIONS. WE WILL ALWAYS HAVE INTERESTING ACTIVITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN.... Please do not contact other members until you have attended at least two meetups .......if you have any questions or suggestions...... please direct them to your organizer.... Thank You...Hope to meet you soon...........

Lehigh Valley Single Parents
Being a single parent comes with unique challenges ranging from social availability to the wildly shifting lifestyle of going from parent to single and back and forth for chunks of time. Maybe you know what to do when you are with your children, but find yourself laying on the couch in your single time. Or maybe you have a rich single life, but find you crave for more social interaction for your kids instead of just alone time with them. Either way, we welcome you to join and help grow this into a great, fun-loving group of people that understand the nuances of single parenting and can help provide an outlet for the ever changing needs of those in this situation. This group is primarily for people in like situations that are looking for things to do and people to meet both with and without their children and just generally expand their horizons. Fun times, encouragement, companionship, compassion, and growing your support & social networks is what this group is about, and it is not intended to be a dating portal. We welcome ideas for events and look forward to helping grow support and social networks for those who have the often complex lifestyle of single parenting.

EcoMom Alliance of the Lehigh Valley
We are a diverse group of women who practice and promote sustainable, healthful & holistic living because we are concerned about the health of the environment and how that affects the development and health of our children. Most of our moms actively promote sustainability and natural living, not only through our meetings, but by being involved in the greater community. This group is about fostering a community oriented toward intrinsic values by offering a forum for open-minded discussions about the common goals we have for our families, our community and the future of the environment. It is not about eco-perfectionism, comparisons or judgments. Our membership is culturally and experientially diverse, spanning many shades of "green" and representing different steps toward holistic living, and individuals are encouraged to be supportive and accepting of even the smallest effort and progress! Our Lehigh Valley group is part of an international group of EcoMoms, but we are completely autonomous in how we hold our meetings, topics, and events. Locally, we are focused on creating a supportive and sustainable parenting community among current, expecting and future mothers. Our activism is primarily non-confrontational. Instead, we directly engage with individuals, businesses, schools, and other community organizations to promote change. While we hold a wide variety of meetings, ranging from play dates to Moms' Night Out, our most stimulating and inspiring conversations happen over coffee at our monthly Coffee Chat. These monthly evening gatherings usually occur at a local sustainable business or a member's home. Occasionally, we follow an agenda or invite a speaker, but usually our conversation is informal and guided by the concerns of the time. Spring time is a time for discussions on healthful, local eating. The cold weather and closed windows of winter generally bring about discussions of indoor air pollution. At any point, a mother may consider using cloth diapers, and we offer ideas and encouragement. Another mother may be discouraged by the rising cost of organic and healthy food, and we offer support on how to give her family the best choices possible. That is why we gather - to inspire and empower each other to healthfully nourish our families, and as a direct result, minimize our environmental impact and create a sustainable future. In the process, we forge meaningful friendships. Together, we seek to share and gain knowledge, and find and offer support for even the smallest effort and progress. Women have been instrumental in the environmental movement from the beginning. We are often the primary caregivers, and the health of our children is in our hands. We also control up to 80% of the purchases in our homes, giving us a powerful consumer voice. But the most effective avenue we have for change is by teaching our children, the next generation, to live responsibly and sustainably through example and open-minded discussion. As both role models and a powerful market force, women in the Lehigh Valley are quietly mobilizing to foster an environmentally, socially and economically vibrant and healthy future.

Berks-Lehigh Hiking and Backpacking
Have you ever been backpacking? Hiking into the backcountry with all your gear on your back can be a fun and liberating experience. I am starting this group to bring local backpackers together, as well as to introduce this activity to those who have never tried it before. Besides backpacking trips, I'd like to plan day hikes, fitness and training events, gear sales, and learning opportunities. Feel free to suggest events! I'd like the group to take on a life of its own and grow as a community, and it can only do that if its members step up and make it their own. I will often put notes on the calendar, which will let you know about local events that may interest you. These may not always be "official" Meetups at first, but can become official events if interest is shown. On the main page you may click "Suggest a New Meetup" to suggest your own events. There are 2 ways that your suggestions will become official events: Approval by the Organizer, or receiving 3 "Yes" RSVP's. This is meant to be an fair and democratic group, so I will not veto any of your events (unless there is a blatant scheduling conflict). I'm hoping that everyone can find a way to have fun and make this group their own. Hope to see you all on the trail! The Boring Stuff "Event Organizer" status will be given to anyone who requests it with one prerequisite: You must have attended at least one of our previous events. "Co-Organizer" or "Assistant Organizer" roles may be granted to reliable Event Organizers, if the size and complexity of the group requires it. Attendance will be monitored and tracked closely. Please don't RSVP "Yes" unless you actually plan on coming. There is nothing worse than waiting around for someone who isn't going to show up. I understand that things come up and plans change, but please try to remember to change your RSVP in a timely manner. After 3 "No Shows", we may be forced to remove you from the group. Changing your RSVP prior to the event will not count against you as a "No Show". To reiterate, "No Show" means that your RSVP was "Yes", but you did not attend the event. As with most Meetups, all activities are done at your own risk. I, nor any other member of this group, will not accept responsibility for any injury suffered during any of our events. I will only condone safe behavior, and those putting themselves or others at risk may be asked to leave. There is also a ZERO TOLERANCE policy against harassment. Anyone who harasses another group member in any way will not be allowed to participate in future events. It is very important that everyone feels safe and comfortable at all times.

Applying the LAW of ATTRACTION Meetup Group
"YOU'VE SEEN THE SECRET, NOW LEARN HOW TO APPLY IT? The movie "The Secret" and the Abraham-Hicks lectures and publications have done an incredible job exposing us to the laws of deliberate creation. However, it is not enough to know the theories; we must also be able to apply them effectively. Refining and practicing the necessary skills makes a world of difference in the results we get! Also, it is much more fun, more rewarding, and easier to follow through on our intentions when we feel the support of friendly, like-minded individuals. This is an open group and everyone is invited. Dates: Monday evenings (every other week) Where: Bethlehem, PA Leader: Dr. Jim Strohl, psychologist, LOA teacher/coach Together we will: 1. Add to our "deliberate creating" skill base 2. Focus on LOA topics of group interest 3. Respond to individual questions/needs 4. Personalize the processes 5. Increase our knowledge base 6. Learn to align with inner being/soul 7. Learn to decrease tension and resolve conflicts

Willow Brook Savvy Study Group
Our Meet-up serves two purposes.... For those who are local, we provide opportunities to meet as a study group every other month or so, (without our horses) to share experiences, troubleshoot and expand our learning. For those who are a little further away, we serve as a resource and reminder for upcoming Play Days and clinics so you can plan to take advantage of the Parelli Professionals without traveling to far. The meetings, clinics and play days at Willow Brook are a great way to get inspired, advance your horsemanship, and "continue the conversation"! Hope to See you Soon!

Accessing Biznez Colleagues Group
This group was recovered to allow local business owners the ability to meet with like minded people for the purpose of expanding their contact base. We expect to use this forum to, as Jabez would say, enlarge our territory with no pain attached (well maybe on yoga night). We are looking for others who are looking to stretch to new heights and maybe try something they have never done before. One thing we are not is a bunch of stuffed suits. If that is what you are looking for, keep looking. We are serious business people that know how to have a good time and enjoy the company of others. We accept creative criticism as long as you are willing to help make the changes you suggest. We foster a positive environment and look forward to enveloping you into the fold. We can't wait to meet you!!

Brunch & Beyond 50 (ish) Singles
Brunch and Beyond is a group of single adults aged 45 to 60 expanding their friendships with others who are in similar solo circumstances. A chance for you to get out and socialize whether it be brunch, walking, diner, dancing, bowling, live music, movies, theatre, wine tasting, festivals or outdoor events when we get together there is always lively conversation and laughter. We encourage members to become event hosts and share their particular interests with the group. We welcome both men and women to B&B but please understand that we are NOT a hookup or dating site. If that is what you are looking for we suggest you try Craig's List or Plenty of Fish, free on-line dating sites. B&B offers an opportunity for members to make new friends, socialize, and have fun in a safe environment without any pressure. Remember some of our members have recently lost a spouse/companion through death or divorce. Just getting out of the house is a big step, let's make that easier, not harder. However that being said, if two consenting adults decide to get together, that is their business. Our members contribute $5/year towards the Meetup site fees, payable to our Organizer Irene or Event Host Dee when you attend your second event. New members are asked to refrain from posting Greetings, Ideas or emailing other members privately until having attended two events gotten to know us and have paid dues. Please note that most of our activities are in the Lehigh Valley, Upper Bucks and Upper Montgomery County areas of PA. If you live in NJ, Philadelphia or Reading our events will be too far for you to attend regularly. One of our objectives is to create friendships outside of Meetups. There are many Meetup groups that most likely are closer to you. Also, we try to keep our "membership" list current. So if you are inactive for a couple months you may be dropped, but are welcome to rejoin when you can attend events. We also require our members to post a current picture of themselves. Please address any questions you may have to our organizer, Irene either by email or at an event. What have you got to lose? Sitting at home another night with your cat or dog? Join our group. Check us out and RSVP for an event. Come meet some new friends. We are expecting you!

Lehigh Valley Coalition for Health Care Reform
"One of the traditional methods for imposing statism or socialism on a people has been by way of medicine. It's very easy to disguise a medical program as a humanitarian project; most people are a little reluctant to oppose anything that suggests medical care for people who possibly can't afford it." - Ronald Reagan The Lehigh Valley COALITION for Health Care Reform is a non-partisan grassroots coalition of concerned citizens and health care professionals committed to educating the public about the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and other measures and policies impacting America's health. Our Constitution Day Educational Workshop is the first in a series of health care reform events hosted by the Lehigh Valley COALITION for Health Care Reform. Future topics will include more about grassroots efforts to protect Pennsylvania's patients, keeping Medicare and Medicaid solvent, how the PPACA will affect young people, holding health insurance companies accountable while not putting them out of business, medical and pharmaceutical innovation, and more. If there's a health care reform topic you'd like to learn more about, please let us know. You can join our coalition at www.Meetup.com/Lehigh-Valley-COALITION-for-Health-Care-Reform or email us at LVCoalition4HCR@aol.com. Archived video of our Constitution Day educational workshop entitled "Everything You Wanted to Know About ObamaCare, but Didn't Know Who To Ask" from 1 to 5 p.m. September 17, 2011, on the campus of DeSales University is available on Ustream: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/health-care-reform---desales. Southeast Pennsylvania Adventure Motorcycle Touring
I decided to start this group because I couldn't find one that fit this particular niche. The purpose is for travel minded destination oriented motorcyclists who are interested to get together for rides, both day rides and/or multi-day tours. The group is open to solo riders with motorcycles, couples who ride together or those who enjoy riding as passengers and are interested in teaming up with solo riders. If you're like me and love riding, talking about bikes, working on bikes and love nature then this group is for you. We will plan day trips, multi-day trips, motorcycle movie nights or whatever else the group comes up with. Typical trips for this group might inlcude: Bushkill Falls, Frenchtown N.J., Jim Thorpe, New Hope, Peddlers Village, Delaware Water Gap, The Poconos, upstate New York, Skyline Drive or the Blue Ridge Parkway or rides to particular restaurants or events. It would of course be up to the group to suggest destinations but the focus will be scenic rides and good company. Off-season (if there is one) gatherings could include bike movie nights (World's Fastest Indian, Long Way Round, Long Way Down, On Any Sunday, MotoGP, Isle of Man, etc.), getting together to add "farkles" or work on our rides, anything and everything that involves bikes and riding. In my travels on the bike I come across others like me, couples or solo riders wearing the "odd clothing" of the serious cyclist. This group was created to get those people together so we can be stared at as a group instead of individually . The best thing about riding for me, other than the freedom and zen like joy it provokes, is meeting and talking with other riders who love it as much as I do. So I hope you find some friends here and thanks for checking us out. Lehigh Valley Book Club of Young Professionals
I am no English laureate, but I will try and describe the club the best I can. This club is filled with outgoing young professionals in around their 20s and 30s who enjoy reading when they can find the time. We would like to get together once a month or every two months, depending on the length of the book chosen to read, on the weekend to discuss the book, socialize, and have a good time. This could mean a low key Friday night at a BYOB sushi bar, a Saturday night at a local Pub, or even a nice brunch at a cozy restaurant on a Sunday. At each meeting members can suggest a book to read for the next get together and they choices will be voted on to see what book will be chosen. Again, this is an energetic group of 20 and 30 somethings that not only enjoy a good book, but also enjoy a good night out. A relaxed well read mind belongs to an efficient productive person. I think this group will help all of our minds stay sharp, yet relaxed, so that we may maximize our full potential as young energetic professionals.

The Lehigh Valley Diaper Circle is for those that are interested about cloth diapers or currently use them and would like to learn more. Consider it a support group for those who want to use re-usable diapers. There are many benefits to using re-usable diapers: health, environmental impact, cost savings, and even style! Cloth diapers have evolved since grandma used them. There are modern day reusable diapers that are just as convenient as disposables, and much more adorable. Please use this group to support your interest in cloth diapering by meeting others like you and learning from one another. There will be a monthly open house to talk about cloth diapers, potty training, and even see what various diapers look like. Attendance will not be mandatory. This is supposed to be fun and stress-free. Also feel free to e-mail me calendar requests for playdates so our little fluffy buns can play together.

Sacred Femininity: Awakening Our Essence
Are you looking to connect to your destiny and life path or find more meaning, abundance, happiness and balance in your life? Did you know that as women, our feminine essence is our greatest source of power to manifest our destiny and all that we want in life; including a successful career, passionate relationships, beauty and good health? In this meet-up, we will incorporate Eastern and Western methods and take an integral approach to reconnecting to our feminine essence and passion for life and learn how to direct this energy and passion to achieve our highest purposes and life goals. Connecting to your destiny and life path is one of the greatest sources of abundance, independence, healing and happiness in all areas of your life. There is a direct connection between connecting to your destiny and having healthy relationships, finding financial wealth and living in harmony with your highest self. This meet-up will be a combination of knowledge transmission and practical exercises for you to see real results in your daily life. We will specifically cover such topics as: • Healthy relationships and how relationships can either support or hinder your ability to fulfill your destiny • The connection between loving your body and sensuality and achieving your purposes • The connection between accessing your feminine essence and being financially successful • Building power, confidence and self-sufficiency in order to get what you want • The connection between a right diet and nutrition and having the energy to accomplish high purposes • Protecting yourself from energetic drains that keep you from achieving your purposes • How to find balance and time in a busy schedule to re-connect to deeper meaning in your life • Cultivating high states of passion and directing this towards your life purposes • The link between connecting to your individual destiny and larger social transformation The intention of this meetup is to build community. Most of the teachings come from The School of Cleopatra (www.cleopatra-arts.org), an international school for women's empowerment and growth. The methods we will learn are a combination of Ancient Eastern Philosophy, such as; Raja Yoga, Aharata (The Way of Protection and Empowerment) and Tibetan Healing, and Western-based methods of Psychology and Psycho-analysis. The methods we will learn and practice have already helped thousands of women around the world, and are now coming to PA! Whether you are looking to find your path in life or looking to find deeper meaning in an already hectic life, whether you are, single or married, young our old, a career professional or home care-taker, this meet-up is meant for every woman who is seeking to re-connect with yourself and live the life of your dreams! This meet-up is also meant for all women who feel a deep calling for change in your life and in the world around you. We are approaching a new era of consciousness, an era in which the feminine energy is emerging and will steer us towards a new global consciousness. This sacred energy is not something in the abstract, but is a power that lies deep within every woman. We can feel this power through our bodies, in our hearts and in our search for love and higher meaning and purpose. When we connect to this, we become pillars of love and light for every person in our life and for all the world. Together we will build and support each other in fulfilling our destiny!

West End 9/12 Tea Party
The 9/12 Project is designed to capture the unity that we all had on September 12, 2001; United as Americans regardless of political ideology. September 12th also brought forward a realization of life, family, liberty and the role of our government. Our individual lives, families and their liberty can not be maintained unless we hold our Government to the Constitution. Government's incremental encroachment into our daily lives, out of control spending coupled with increasing debt are placing burdens on us and future generations. The empowerment, by our Government, of special interest, especially in the name of "Political Correctness and Tolerance", and its ability to filter into everything from our Schools to the news media, has created a boiling point where people are saying ENOUGH! The once silent citizens, overwhelmed with everyday life, is silent no more, nor alone. Let's join together, in a unified voice, to show our Government that they are our Public Servants. They work for us. Unfortunately the complicity by the Press with the Government will make this task difficult, but definitely not impossible one. It has been done before. Having an understanding of the Principles that our Founders used to create the Constitution and this Great Republic is a starting point. Advancing the Principles used along with the issues of today, puts history on our side. With the support of other like minded people, one voice becomes many. Just like one group here in the West End can provide support with other like-minded groups in Pennsylvania and so on. Our goal is to use and advance the Principles of our Founders to address the issues of today. Suggestions and comments are very much welcomed.

Cold Nose Lodge Open Play
Our new open playgroups combine the fun of a dog park with the safety of dog daycare. Dogs can play in our climate controlled facility and run in our fenced play yards. Dog parents can talk with other dog people while watching their pups play with friends. There are two separate play areas, so dogs will be divided by size and activity level. All dogs must provide vaccination records, and must play well with others.

Lehigh and Berks County Small Business Networking Club
In this day and age small businesses are looking for ways to market their businesses in the most effective way and inexpensively. Now there is the "Lehigh and Berks County Small Business Networking Clubs" This group is primarily for small business owners who are looking to grow their business and increase profits. In my opinion, I know of no business who is not trying to grow. We help business owners promote their business in a forum designed for giving and sharing. Our business owners are able to connect with experts who will help them grow and protect their businesses. Fran Tarkenton (NFL Hall of Fame football player) interviews a special guest each month. These interviews are always timely and appropriate for the small business owner. Mr. Tarkenton has started 15 businesses and has a major understanding of what a small business owner can experience when running his/her business. What can you experience with the Small Business Networking Club: - Expose your business to other local businesses - Acquire new prospects and customers - Learn who in your community provides the products and services you need. - Listen to Fran Tarkenton and a special guest each month on a timely subject. This is not a forum for RECRUITING. This is for serious business people looking to market their products and/or services.

Lehigh Valley Family Fun
This group has been established for parents who have a passion for having fun together with their children and couples who enjoy 'family' even if they don't have kids yet. Sometimes having children keeps people from doing the adventurous things they might have once done before becoming parents. We believe that it's still possible AND healthy for our kids to continue enjoying life and doing the great things we've always loved to do. Even if you're a married couple looking to expand your family in the near future, you're welcome to join us! We'd love to be a support to you. Most of our families live throughout the Lehigh Valley - many near South Mountain (Emmaus, Center Valley, Allentown, Macungie, Breinigsville), so many of our events will take place in those areas. However, don't hesitate to join if you live farther. Many of our 'bigger' events will involve some level of travel for everyone. Our group will focus on family activities such as: Going to museums and zoos Day Trips to the 'big' cities State Parks Game Nights (Board games and Wii!) Movie Nights / Bowling Ice Cream Outings Picnics Family Dinners / Recipe Clubs Hiking Biking Skiing Skating Sledding Snowshoeing Canoeing Kayaking Rock Climbing Golfing Camping Going to Amusement Parks Carnivals/Fairs Weekend getaways to the mountains and ocean Traveling and MORE! These are just our initial ideas. There doesn't seem to be a group specific to young families or active couples who are planning a family, so we thought we'd give this a shot! If you're someone who enjoys life's adventures and wants to continue doing so with your kids, this is the group for you!

Coworking Lehigh Valley
Coworking Lehigh Valley is the meetup for independent professionals in the Lehigh Valley looking to improve their workplace experience. Whether you are working from home, a Starbucks, or from executive suites, you are probably finding something lacking. Coworking provides an opportunity to capture the independence of working from home, the flexibility and funkiness of a Starbucks, and the low overhead and shared services of executive suites while adding the key ingredient: camaraderie. This will be a place for collaboration and innovation. We are hoping to bring in professionals from a diverse array of industries, including graphic design, web development, consultants, app developers, photographers, professional writers, non-profits, and video editors. We are building a space in the Allentown Economic Development Corporation's Bridgeworks Enterprise Center on the South Side of Allentown, PA. The space will be around 3,200 square feet with seats for around 40 concurrent coworkers. It will feature reliable wifi, conference rooms, private meeting rooms, mail service, ample parking, print/fax services, and a kitchenette. While we hope to get started with temporary space in the same building by March 31, we should be fully operational in the permanent space by June 2011. We will host open houses and other events at the space designed to increase awareness of coworking and improve entrepreneurial opportunities.

Lehigh Valley Moms
This club was started to provide moms with a support network of fellow moms who are going through the same things you are. The majority of our members are SAHM's but we do have a few FT/PT and work from home moms. My goal as the organizer is to provide a plethora of exciting opportunities for both you and your little one to get up, get out, and get involved. The majority of our meet-ups are scheduled during the day but I try to have at least one evening meet-up a week and 1-2 weekend meet-ups a month. I also try hard to notify you of other events I hear about going on in the Lehigh Valley. Our meet-ups take place in and around the Lehigh Valley. Our members are from Allentown, Bethlehem,Hellertown, Emmaus Coopersberg, Schnecksville, Slatington, Trexlertown& Macungie. Our calendar is very full, at least 4-6 events a week including some evening and weekends. I try my best to keep things fresh and exciting when planning the calendar. I schedule the kinds of things I wasn't seeing in other groups I was involved in. Just listing the brief overview of things we do sound general, but it is impossible to be specific until you are viewing our calendar for yourself. We have Mom's night out, Family Nights out, never typical story times, Play dates at members homes, park play dates, arts, crafts, mommy book club, "swaps", "field trips" and so much more. And of course every event is filled with laughter and memories. Since we are a new group this fall we will have our first "moms giving back" drive to help support other moms in the LV who find themselves in a time of need. I am always open to new ideas and suggestions. After all the members are what keep the group fresh, fun, exciting and moving forward! NOTE: 1.)You are welcome to check-us out for one month, after which time I ask that you pay a $10.00 membership fee. If that fee is not paid you will be removed from the group. After a month you should get an idea that we are offering what you are looking for as you will be able to see the current month and next month's calendar as well as the previous months. 2.)It is required that you attend at minimum, 1 event every month. My goal is to keep our membership numbers low and this will help ensure everyone stays active in the group. The lower number also seems to help foster closer relationships and friendships among the moms. 3.)Unlike some of the other local groups it is not required that you host events, but it is strongly encouraged. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me by utilizing the "contact us" tab, but please include all info I may need to get in touch with you. I am unable to respond to messages sent by non-members through Meet-up. I look forward to meeting you and your munchkins! Sincerely, Laura

Bucks County Digital Marketing Discussion Group
When it comes to digital marketing, it's crucial to keep your strategies and perspectives fresh. But that's easier said than done in a world where new technologies and trends materialize overnight. At Kazaam Interactive, we strongly believe that the sharing of information and ideas is not only beneficial, but also necessary to stay on top of the game. If you are a digital marketing or social media professional, or you share a passion for these topics, we invite you to join us in a friendly and open forum. We'll be discussing a range of stimulating topics, including but not limited to: mobile marketing; usability and optimization; web versus mobile design; social media to-dos and to-don'ts; and marketing to helicopter mothers. And we're completely open to suggestions – creativity is encouraged. Self-promotion? Not so much. If you would like to present a topic or have an idea for a discussion, please let us know at meetup@kazaamweb.com. Marketing is a cutthroat industry, but this will not be a cutthroat conversation. Our meetings will not be about competition or self-promotion. If discussion gets inappropriate or uncomfortable or overly boring, we have a life-size dinosaur in our downstairs area to intervene. His name is Kazilla; he only bytes if necessary. The goal of this group is to share, to discuss, to learn, and to hopefully have some fun along the way. And yes, "fun" includes free food and beverages, face-to-face networking with some pretty cool people, and the occasional YouTube video. We hope to see you soon!

As a high school English teacher who writes constantly, I would like to create a social support system for artists, people who still believe that the greatest thing a person can do in his/her life is to create something beautiful. The Classical Music Scene
What does music do for you? More importantly, what would you do without music? Live a day without music! You become keenly aware of the silence that prevails. The emptiness! Music expresses our feelings; it inspires, motivates, energizes and calms us. Composers paint on silence. Musicians bring it to life. A live performance delivers it to you like no other experience. The Classical Music Scene The performances of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Symphony Orchestra (located in Lansdale, PA) are the locations of our meetup group. Other performances in the region are available to the group as they become known. This meetup provides you an opportunity to share your passion for classical music with others. Members do not have to be a musician or have an extensive knowledge of the music. Just come and enjoy! We provide a place to meet other people. You create your own experience. The Organizer of this Meetup While I am not a musician, I am a lifelong lover of classical music. The Southeastern PA Symphony Orchestra enhances my musical experience. I serve on their board of directors because I believe in supporting this great music. I also have the pleasure of talking to many other people about their organization and music. Easton Yoga Community Yoga Classes
Yes, just $5! (cash only) EVERY Saturday at 11am-12:15pm and Sunday 5:30pm-6:46pm Class is great for beginner yoga students as well as an opportunity for more experienced students to deepen their practice. Blossoming teachers who have just completed, or are in the process of completing, a Yoga Alliance certified yoga school program, teach this class. ****We strongly encourage arriving to class at least 10 minutes early. **********(please note as of Feb 1st we will implement a strict policy of no admittance 5 minutes after the start time listed for class) Dear Students: I am excited about some local yoga activism and have decided to donate all of Easton Yoga's proceeds from the Community Yoga Classes to The Shanthi Project. Founded by local yoga teacher Denise Veres, The Shanthi Project is bringing yoga and meditation to at-risk and incarcerated youth and underserved communities in the Lehigh Valley. The project aims to help participants cope with stress and impulse control, leading to improved self-awareness and a greater sense of well-being. Research in these populations is showing that yoga and meditation can lead to mindful, constructive ways to face life's challenges. This past spring, Denise completed a twice weekly, month long pilot study at Northampton County Juvenile Justice Center, bringing yoga and mindfulness meditation to 11 boys in the treatment program. The encouraging results and some amazing stories about how these teens are embracing the practice led to a long-term program for the boys with co-teacher Michael Lear, and a program in the newly opened girls units, with co-teachers Andrea Pysher and Andree Santini. With the gracious support of several local yoga teachers and studios, The Shanthi Project will also soon be bringing yoga to the Children's Home of Easton, The Easton Boys' and Girls' Club, and a local woman's shelter. The Shanthi Project greatly appreciates Easton Yoga Community's support and Alicia's generosity. They are also welcoming new and gently used yoga mat donations, since each student is given their own mat that they can keep when they go home. Any donations can be dropped off at Easton Yoga. So, thank-you for supporting Easton Yoga's Community classes, and know that you're helping to make a difference for this extended yoga community. Just a reminder, the community classes will be at 11am on Saturdays and 5:30 on Sundays, so please come out as often as you can. Shanthi, Peace, Alicia Easton Yoga Owner For more information on the Shanthi Project, go to www.shanthiproject.org or contact Denise Veres at veresda@aol.com

Bethlehem Spiritual, Mindfulness, Nonduality, Seth Meetup
------ MULTIDIMENSIONAL DYNAMICS OF CONSCIOUSNESS ------- A group for those interested in learning and applying the principles of "Multidimensional Dynamics of Consciousness" as found in Jane Roberts' Seth Books. Each of us is a multidimensional being composed of spirit, body, mind, and emotions. These fundamental elements of human existence always exist as the same time and must all be in positive alignment for happiness to occur. The content of these meetings will be a unique form of Spiritual Psychology based on the Multidimensional Nature of Humankind as taught by Seth, a spirit entity channeled by Jane Roberts and as taught by Jeanne Cluny, another superb channel of Multidimensional information. Approaches by other spiritual teachers (Tolle, Jacobson, Katie, Foster, Dyer, etc.) will be integrated into our discussions. An emphasis will be place on the role of emotions, memories, beliefs, expectations, self-acceptance, and here-and-now experiencing in forming the realities we live. Format: lecture, discussion, and experiential learning. Fee: $20 per session. Our objectives will include learning to: 1. understand the multidimensional nature of life. 2. connect and align with inner being/soul 3. discover and live our inner truth. 4. create positive realities for ourselves. 5. decrease tension & resolve conflicts. 6. fully actualize by using our full potential. 7. achieve the ultimate goals of freedom and happiness. Early on, we will address the following questions: *Who am I? *Where did I come from? *Why am I here? *Where am I going? Group leader: Dr. Jim Strohl Jim Strohl is a psycho-spiritual teacher and coach, devoted to helping others awaken to their full potential by discovering and expressing their true identity as a multidimensional being. He holds the unusual distinction of being traditionally trained in American Universities as a counseling psychologist while also receiving in-depth, nontraditional training from gifted spiritual teachers in altered states of consciousness and multidimensional dynamics of consciousness. This unique combination provides him with the knowledge and skill base to reduce abstract spiritual concepts into practical living applications. More information about Dr. Strohl and the services he provides, please visit his websites at www.jamesstrohl.com and www.cpd3.com.

Lehigh Valley Club Dad
I've started this group because after searching and searching, nothing of the kind seems to exist in this area! Isolation is, hands down, the toughest part of being an at-home dad, so the purpose of this group is pretty simple: to give at-home dads an opportunity to get together with other dads for social interaction, to learn and share, and so our kids can play together. That's where we'll start, at least, and as the group and interest in more activities grows, we'll expand. So. Any other stay-at-home-dads out there looking to get together?

Wiccan Study Group of the Moonlit Chalice
This meeting is intended as an outlet for those Wiccans or Pagans in the Upper Bucks and Lehigh Valley areas to come and learn more about Witchcraft, Wicca and many other Magickal topics. It is a Class and Study Group intended for all levels, and you may feel free to come and go at anytime without obligation to join a coven. This will be a nice way for solitary practitioners as well as others to have a opportunity to hang out with other Wiccans/Pagans and learn from each other. We are very eclectic and definitely all share knowledge amongst the group. The two hosts are are both trained Wiccan priests who run their own coven and wish to share their knowledge and love for the Craft of the Wise with those people in the area who want to learn more. We also would like to see a small community of like minded people grow out of this study group who can occasionally join in honoring the spirit of nature and the God and Goddess. At each meeting we will take a group consensus about what each person would like to learn more about the following meeting. If we don't know anything on that topic perhaps another attendee will, and if no one does then we will all research the topic together. This group is not about lectures and homework but instead about sharing in the fun of learning more. Blessed Be!

Club Mom
We are a group of SAHMs, WAHMs and moms who work PT who love getting together during the week to talk about our kids, give and take advice, make friends and have fun. We participate in many activities ranging from play dates in each others' homes to mom's night out, and everything in between. We're laid back moms who just want some adult conversation, something to do and a chance to make friends. Our calendar is FULL of amazing activities (sometimes 3/day!). We know it's difficult to attend events when babies need naps, so we offer a nice range of times and locations. Our members live in Emmaus, Upper Milford, Macungie, Alburtis, Allentown, Southern Lehigh and Salisbury Townships and we tend to hold most of our Meetups in this area. Please note: As a member of Club Mom, we ask that you host at least 1 activity every 2 months to keep our calendar diverse and to allow everyone to be part of the planning. These hosted activities can either be at your home or at a park where you supply snacks/drinks. We also require attendance to at least 3 events each month. We keep our group membership low, so we need to ask these two things to make sure everyone remains active. It has proven to bring our members closer to each other! If you have any questions, you are welcome to email our Organizer through the "contact us" tab, but please include your contact information to include name, phone number and email address. Creating Tomorrow ~ Angelic Empowerment Healing Circle
Assisting you on Your Path of Light and Unfolding into Your True Potential! This meetup is for those who are interested in meeting and communing with Angels. Here is a little about me and what I do. I'm a Spiritual Medium, Angel Communicator, Traditional Usui Reiki Master Teacher, and a Ordained Non-denominational Metaphysical Minister. I'm also certified in Past Life Regression and a few other things. You can learn more about me on my website listed below. I love working with all Angels. I'm an IET - Integrated Energy Therapy Master Instructor. I work with the violet angelic energy ray gifted to us by the nine Healing Angels of the Energy Field, to work directly with your 12 Strand Spiritual DNA. Meet with the beautiful IET Angels as these special light beings assist you in your self-healing journey. IET has much to offer. We will also be working with the information provided at my Angelic Empowerment Workshop series. This includes access to the Violet Ray, Merkaba energy, 12 strand DNA Activation, Clearing Karma, Forgiveness Process, Empowered Heart, Atlantean Healing Temple, Future Life Progression, Meeting your Guardian Angels, building a Vision Board with Angelic assistance, plus several other processes. Learn how to Heartlink to the Angels, build Heartbeams, and connect to the World Angel Grid, and much more. We will be learning about, Auras, Ascended Masters, Arch Angels, and the many other Angelic Beings in existence, as well as exploring some of the workshops offered on my website, such as the Crystal Enlightenment Workshop. The first 5 meetings will be based on my angelic Empowerment Workshop Series, and will be focused on several consecutive IET processes. These process were originally taught to IET Master Instructors only, by IET originator Steven Thayer, at our IET Master Retreats. The processes build upon one another and are then imprinted with hand mudras for a quick future automatic activation. I am able to physically and energetically "set the stage" so IET practitioners and non IET persons can participate and benefit from the processes. Ideally, it is most beneficial to begin with the first process and meeting and follow them through. I do not recommend starting in the middle, but I will leave that up to the individual. However, you are free to stop whenever you wish, if you find that this is not for you. If you are already an IET practitioner, then please speak with me. I also offer these process as private sessions. We will also be learning many other Metaphysical subjects and explore Quantum Physics. We'll end our gathering, by joining in a healing circle and participate with a guided meditation and healing prayer for ourselves and the planet. The meetings and prayers are non-denominational. Experience your true Divine Self! Occasionally, I may have to change the date to accomadate us for scheduling conflicts or inclement weather Bring some snacks - protein is usually good to energize you, and bring plenty of water. I am excited to begin the workshop meetings and engage in our healing prayer circle. I look forward to meeting many like minded people and Earth Angels. Please take a moment to read the message board for clarification of what we're going to be doing for the next several meetings. There are many ways to connect with the Angels. IET offers some fun and unique ways to do this. It is very uplifting, and everyone I've ever taught always love the experience. We will explore other ways and many more Angels that are in existence, in future meetings. Please e-mail me or call me with any questions. Please feel free to visit my website for more detailed information. www.DivineLightWithin.com In One Heart Arianna

Well can we all identify with this phrase? We are to busy to have fun. I'm tired, I don't like my job. My parents are getting older and I need to take care of them. I'm busy with my children and grandchildren. I can;t leave my dog alone. Now when you decide I want to have fun starting now, I promise you that is just what you will do in this group. However, you standing a distance away, in a helmet & glasses, even with your bike, does NOT constitute a CLEAR pic, sorry; Those are VERY nice pics to 'check out' on your profile, but NOT as your Primary pic.
